Dear parents and
guardians:
In Reading, we will read “Angel
Child, Dragon Child”. Please make sure that your child read this story
at least twice a week.
We will also learn how to use reference materials to determine the meaning of unknown words, vowel digraphs and r-controlled letter- sound, and common spelling
patterns to make new words. Please make sure you child do all homework assessments
for this week.
In Language Arts, we will learn how to combine
sentences, correct run-on sentences, and using building skills: Dictionary. Pages 13-19, 30-37. Test will be on Friday.
In Math, we will learn how to round to the
nearest ten, hundred, and thousand. We will also learn about addition properties and missing addends. Test will be on Friday.
In Science, well will learn about plants.
